Alsalam University is a public University, established in 2008 located in West Kordofan state, about 900 km South West of Khartoum. It encompass ten faculties and six centers of which the center for peace studies and development is most proactive one in the region, with total student number of 7479 registered in ten faculties and total academic staff number of 161.
